Our Assistant Instructors

Nathan Royal
Nathan was born and raised in the Wood River Valley. After graduating high school, he attended classes at BSU and ITT. He enjoys spending time with his family and the outdoors. Nathan has been practicing the art of Shaolin for 8 years and in that time he has earned a 3rd degree black belt in Shaolin Kung Fu as well as a 3rd degree black sash in Shaolin's Internal Arts program. As an assistant instructor his approach to teaching is with energy, a sense of humor, and dedication. "When folks ask me what I do in my spare time, I smile and tell them Kung Fu and Tai Chi!".

Jenny Houle
Jenny has been a student with the Idaho Shaolin Center since September of 2017. In that time she has achieved the level of 3rd degree black belt. "I absolutely love the stimulation Kung Fu brings to me physically and mentally. As someone who always wants to learn something new, Kung Fu has an amazing amount to offer! I don't think it will be possible for me to run out of new and exciting challenges in my training".
